Geoinformatics I have learnt from scratch. In over 15 years I have been able to gather many valuable experiences in a variety of IT projects. What fulfils me in my work: processing geodata by means of IT, analysing and representing it, solving customers’ problems and optimizing their daily processes.

In my day-to-day work I use open source web technology predominantly. With it I create comprehensive web applications, from HMI to business logic to the integration of geo-databases.

In addition to my technical work, I am increasingly taking on management responsibility and keeping an eye out for new technologies and sectors in which we can become active. I like trying out new ideas, tackling challenges and building something sustainable together.

Geoinformatics is my passion – from analysis, processing and presentation of every type of geodata to development of applications. For more than 20 years I have been planning, developing and implementing solutions with products of the GeoMedia family. But I am also thoroughly familiar with open source alternatives. In addition I am responsible for the marketing of the MicroStation products and services.

My aim is to understand and solve the problems of my customers. I am always happy to pass on my knowledge in practice-oriented workshops. As a result I have built up many long-standing relationships with customers.

As a trained air traffic controller with the German Air Traffic Control (DFS) I have found my domain in particular in the development of programs to determine the aptitude of controllers, pilots and astronauts. I also have experience in the simulation of aircraft and air traffic systems.

I support TBiQ as external contractor in the area individual software and with all questions on air traffic control. Privately I don’t fly an aircraft but, as a hobby, I am deeply involved in building and flying a variety of drones.

I have always been passionate about programming. In recent years, I have increasingly specialised in the development of spatial applications. Whether it's a GIS database, a shapefile or a designfile - when it comes to geodata of any kind, I am at your side with comprehensive expertise and pleasure!

Our team specialises in the development and maintenance of GIS-based applications and CAD tools. This also includes the further development of an application for the management of airspace data for air traffic control systems. I am enthusiastic about the increasing importance of open-source technologies in our projects and in the entire GIS world.

My areas of responsibility are the design and implementation of modern WebGIS applications with the emphasis on frontend development. I have always been enthusiastic about the digital mapping of the real world and this has led me to the area of geoinformatics.

My challenge and driving force is to make the representation and analysis of your geodata simpler and time-saving with the help of specialist, user-friendly and intuitive applications.

Technical things and how they work have captivated me from a very early age.
This interest then led me to go into software development as a career.
For me, every software problem is initially a puzzle that I want to solve at all costs.

At TBiQ I work in the WebGIS team and combine software development with my second passion: processing spatial data.
No matter if in the frontend or backend - my goal is always to take the wishes and ideas of our customers and to exceed their expectations with my solutions.

I am quite at home in the field of Quality Assurance of IT systems. Particularly in the area of Test Processes, Automation as well as Load & Performance I have gained much expertise through a large number of projects.

Alongside my tasks as company director I mainly take care of the area Managed Testing Services and foster contacts to existing and new customers.

I’m a passionate software developer with a Master’s degree in Geoinformatics. 
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on impactful EU projects in smart energy management and sustainable mobility.

I have always been fascinated by aviation – from my first experiences in gliding and model flying to my current job: software development in the field of air traffic control. After my bachelor's degree in computer science at RWTH Aachen University, where I gained experience in software projects, I am currently expanding my expertise in my master's degree with a focus on data science.

My first project at TBiQ was a tool for analyzing flight tracks – an exciting intersection between computer science and aviation that combines my passion for innovative technologies and complex systems.

I am the technology partner for the development of high-quality applications for desktop and web, from basic concept up to the release. I am also specialized in numerical algorithms, mathematical statistics as well as data analysis and visualisation and versed in Big Data.

With great, practical experience I realize individual software solutions for companies in various branches. I have been working for TBiQ for many years as independent IT expert. My focus is the classic application development in all phases, the creation of tools as well as technical counselling.

I never wanted to do just "anything with IT", but to support people in their work with geodata.
After studying geoinformatics, I worked on the processing of measurement data and helped develop an area-accurate system for calculating EU agricultural subsidies.

At TBiQ I focus on the management of airspace structure data for the Deutsche Flugsicherung.
I am enthusiastic about projects where I can fully live out my passion for geoinformatics, communication and collaboration.

As a graduate engineer in surveying, I have dedicated my entire working life to geo-IT. In this field, I have over 30 years of experience in requirements analysis, conception, development and implementation of national and international projects of all sizes and in a wide range of industries.

I love to design the best solutions together with my clients and accompany the entire process until the successful implementation. I am your competent contact for all spatial-related questions.

After completing my apprenticeship, I was determined to build my career in computer science. I pursued a degree while simultaneously working in software development, where I contributed to projects from the initial concept to full implementation. I am currently expanding my expertise through a master’s program at RWTH Aachen University.

At TBiQ, I develop microservices, set up CI/CD pipelines, and work on processing large volumes of data within scalable systems. In my technical leadership roles, I embrace responsibility and contribute to the success of our projects and team.
